Digital Publishing Services
Digital Publishing covers a wide array of services, ranging from making copies for you, to transferring photos to DVD. We are confident that you'll love the ability to access these services locally.
Used Computer Systems
Not everyone can afford to spend upwards of $500 to obtain a computer system for their children or themselves, especially in today's challenging economy. ENVISIONocity Computer Services understands this, and that's why we offer a variety of computer systems for sale. These are systems that have usually been built from the "ground" up, and include a monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Most are internet-ready, as well. Since our stock changes frequently, feel free to stop by our shop and go hands-on, and decide which one best suits your needs (and your budget).
Computer Consignments
Have a system that you're not using any more and would like to sell? You might be interested in checking into our consignment service.
Here's how it works: you bring your system in, along with whatever accessories you're selling with it. You set the asking price and when it sells, you collect your money. This is a fee-based service that ENVISIONocity Computer Services provides you (The consignment fee ($7.50) is charged when you bring your system in (this pays for the space your system will be using during its stay, as well as incidental expenses) and recurs every two weeks. There is a 3% sales fee (based on the final selling price) that is due when you collect your proceeds from the sale. Sales tax is the responsibility of the buyer and will be collected at time of sale.
Computer Donations
Sometimes people come across computer parts or old systems that they cannot use any longer, or that are no longer working. ENVISIONocity Computer Services provides you with a way to recycle old computer systems and components by allowing you to bring it in to the store where it will be refurbished for possible low-priced reselling (if it's computer parts), or refurbished for donation (if it's a computer system) to low-income families with students.
Computer Repairs and Upgrading
We offer our clients dependable computer repairs, usually same-day service speed (some limitations apply). And we have a standing policy: If we can't fix your computer, there is absolutely no charge to you, and we'll usually be able to refer you to a place for servicing.
We can also perform system upgrades for you. These can include: software installation, memory upgrades, drive installation, and much more.
Charge: $15-20/hour, depending on the severity of the problem. Minimum charge is 1 hour. There is a $5.00 Fuel Surcharge for on-site service calls.
System Maintenance
We offer our clients a system maintenance service which includes scanning the computer system for spyware, malware, and other "adware" programs, helping free a computer system of "clutter" and optimizing the computer system. We also scan for virus infections, optimize various system settings, and offer our expertise on how you can get even better performance out of your system.
Charge: $20 per hour plus a $5.00 Fuel Surcharge for on-site service calls.
Note: The purchase of software may be required, and is the responsibility of the client. However, upon prepayment, ENVISIONocity Computer Services will obtain the necessary software in behalf of the client and install said software (a fuel surcharge may also be charged).
